The Free America Movement advocates for a fundamental right to privacy for every American. We hold ourselves to that same standard. This policy explains plainly what information we collect, how we use it, and what we will never do with it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what you voluntarily provide to us:
- Email address — when you sign up to stay informed
- Phone number — if you choose to provide it for text alerts (optional)
- Name and contact information — if you make a donation or contact us directly
- Donor information — if you contribute, we collect the information required by law (see Section 4)
We do not use tracking pixels, behavioral advertising, or third-party analytics that identify you personally.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only for the following purposes:
- Sending you updates, news, and calls to action from the Free America Movement
- Sending text alerts if you have provided your phone number and consented to receive them
- Processing donations and maintaining required financial records
- Responding to your inquiries or requests
3. What We Will Never Do
- Sell or rent your personal information to any third party
- Share your contact information with other political organizations, campaigns, or advocacy groups without your explicit consent
- Use your information for purposes other than those described in this policy
- Send you text messages if you have not opted in
4. FEC Disclosure Requirements
The Free America Movement is a registered Super PAC subject to Federal Election Commission (FEC) regulations. Federal law requires us to disclose certain donor information to the FEC for contributions above applicable thresholds. This information becomes part of the public record as required by law.
We have no control over how the FEC publishes this information once it has been submitted, as it becomes part of the public record. If you have questions about FEC disclosure requirements, you can visit fec.gov.
5. Email and Text Communications
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may opt out of email communications at any time by clicking that link or by emailing us directly at info@free-america-movement.org.
If you have signed up for text alerts, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, or by emailing us. Once you opt out, we will not send you further text messages.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Our contact list is managed through a 3rd party, which maintains its own security standards and certifications. We do not store payment information — all donation processing is handled by ActBlue, which maintains PCI-compliant payment security.
7. Cookies and Website Data
Our website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. We may use basic, anonymous analytics to understand how many people visit our site and which pages are most read. This data is aggregate and cannot be used to identify you personally.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify subscribers by email. We will never change our core commitment: your personal information will not be sold or shared.
